Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the BURSU Connection Manager desktop application ("the app") and the BURSUcloud service at bursucm.com ("the service"), provided by BURSUsofts. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
BURSU Connection Manager is a tool for managing remote connections (SSH, RDP, VNC, Telnet, Serial, Web, FTP, SFTP) and credentials. BURSUcloud optionally hosts your connection catalog in an isolated database reachable through our zero-knowledge API.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials and master password safe.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and the users you create.
- You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app or service to:
- access systems you are not authorized to access;
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- attack, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of the connections, credentials and data you store. You are responsible for having the right to store and connect to the systems you add. Handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Availability
We work to keep the service available and backed up, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BURSUsofts is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app or service. Keep your own backups of important data.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
